Fresh, tasty, wholesome food during day care

At The Hollies Day Nursery, everybody’s favourite part of the day is meal time. And with the tasty snacks our experienced nursery cook dishes up, is it any wonder!

The Hollies currently holds The Gold Standard Healthy Snack Award for Pre-School Settings in accordance with Health Challenge Wales.

Meal times are an integral and social part of the day at The Hollies nursery. We devise a four-weekly seasonal menu, which is updated and reviewed regularly. The nursery ensures that it meets all the children’s nutritional needs, as well as honouring individual and family dietary requirements.

Throughout the day, children receive breakfast on arrival, a mid-morning snack, lunch and pudding as well as a mid-afternoon snack and high tea. Water is of course offered continually throughout the day.

We update our menus twice a year. Full details are included in our brochure. The following examples will give you a taste of our delicious offering.
