All our friendly staff possess a wealth of experience together with an in-depth knowledge of child development and early education.

Each member of our Management team possesses an NVQ Level 5 or above.

All of our nursery nurses are NNEB, BTEC, CACHE or NVQ Level 3 qualified, so you can rest assured that your child is always in the best of hands. Our nursery assistants work towards an NVQ Level 3 with training and support provided by the nursery team. In addition to in-house training opportunities the nursery is committed to continuous professional childcare development for all our staff. Every member of staff is CRB checked – without exception, and all are trained in first aid, child protection and food hygiene.

Exciting opportunities have arisen for Nursery Nurse, and Senior Nursery Nurse to join our expanding nursery team.

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious Practitioner who has the ability to work well as part of a team, have high expectations, and provide a high quality of care and education to our children at all times.

You will hold a minimum NVQ level 3 equivalent or above

Nursery Nurse will work 37.5 hours each week Monday to Friday

You will receive 20 days holiday per year plus all bank holidays. Holiday entitlement increases in accordance with the length of service worked.

You will be expected to attend training/meetings outside nursery hours

Introducing the childcare team at The Hollies Day Nursery

Owner / Managing Director – Lisa Cronk
Lisa Cronk is responsible for the operational management and direction of the business. Lisa spent 16 years as a nursery nurse before establishing The Hollies. Lisa gained an NNEB in Childcare in 1986 and has since achieved a Level 4 in childcare (ADCE), the Assessors “A” Award in NVQ training and graduated as PGCE / Cert Ed.

Hollies Day Nursery was established in 2002 based on Lisa’s principle of "high quality provision is the key to giving children a good start".

Owner / Finance Director – David Hutchings
David is responsible for the strategic financial management and development of the business. David qualified as a chartered accountant at PWC and has over 30 years broad based commercial experience together with hands on knowledge of growing a successful business.

Tracey is the Manager responsible for children 2 years old and above.

Diana is the Manager responsible for babies and toddlers under 2.
